1. Decide on a budget beforehand

Decide on a budget before you go to the show, that way you can get quotes from different vendors that work for your budget.

2. Create a separate email address

Create a wedding address that you can use specifically for your wedding planning. You will need to give out your address quite a bit to different wedding show vendors so it’s best you have one that’s separate from work or other emails.

3. Take lots of Pics

A bridal show is an amazing place for ideas and inspiration, make sure to bring your phone and take lots of photos of ideas that you like so you can revisit them later on.

4. bring an empty stomach

Save room for all the yummy cake and food samples you will be getting at the show, plus there will be general food booths or food courts where you can really fill up!

5. know your dates

Some vendors might offer discounts for couples who book their wedding consultations with them so it’s a good idea to know all your important dates and book accordingly.

6. dress for the occasion

Wear comfy clothes that are easy to slip in and out of when you want to try on some bridal gowns.

7. Be ready to spend

You might fall in love with a wedding dress or a tuxedo or you might find the perfect fit with a vendor that needs a deposit to secure your wedding date with them, so make sure you come prepared.

8. Bring your colour palette

Make sure you have your colour palette as a screenshot you can quickly pull up on your phone. Plenty of wedding florists and wardrobe specialists will happily give you advice based on your colours and style.

9. take it easy

Don’t get too overwhelmed by all the choices. Remember there will be so many vendors and professionals from the same category so if you find yourself getting overloaded by all the choices, just take their cards and then make a decision later on when you can separate them into different categories and take your time checking out their website to find the perfect fit.
